Mixed summer exhibition at the Bircham Gallery with both established and new artists.
My first mixed show at Gallery 57.
Gallery 57 is part of a Grade 2 listed, Georgian house in bustling Tarrant Street, Arundel where owner and practicing artist, Ann Symes, lives. Historically it has been a shop but now provides a light, spacious, area in which to display contemporary art including painting, drawing, original prints, 3D mixed media, ceramics, jewellery, photography and book arts.
I am delighted to have been asked again to exhibit with some of the country's most respected painters, printmakers and sculptures including Maggie Hambling and Henrietta Dubrey as part of Art for Cure held at the beautiful Glemham Hall in Suffolk.
Art For Cure stages one of the most exciting and successful art and sculpture exhibitions in the UK; raising money for national breast cancer research and supporting breast cancer services in East Anglia. They raise a remarkable amount at their exhibitions and with their ever increasing following of art lovers and utter dedication they are really making a difference.
Details of times will follow but limited tickets are available for the Private View on Friday, 4th May from the 15th January from the Art for Cure website at a cost of £25 each.
Hybrid Gallery shows British figurative art in the welcoming and relaxed environment of a Georgian property in the High Street of Honiton in East Devon. The former drawing rooms allow for paintings, sculpture and craft to be seen on a domestic scale whilst the lofty height of the Garden gallery extension gives room for larger canvases.
AND GALLERY PRINTMAKERS
On the eastern edge of Sussex, surrounded by beautiful countryside, Artichoke Gallery is in the heart of this wealden village with an eclectic selection of small creative businesses. In addition to featuring the work of artist/owners Vicki Atkinson, Liz Moys and Louisa Crispin, each year there are four themed exhibitions of painting, sculpture, ceramics and jewellery representing some of the leading artists and makers in the country.
The Gallery has a spacious, relaxed atmosphere to show off the contemporary delights on offer, ideal for sourcing that extra special present from highly skilled artisans, check out the website for a taster but better still, pop in for a sensory treat.
This will be my first exhibition with Artichoke Gallery showing a selection of screenprints, framed and unframed.
Gallery opening hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 9.30am - 4.30pm. The Private View for the Through the Window exhibition is on Friday, 19th January, 2018, 6-8pm.

There is a narrative thread to much of the work shown, some is quirky and all of it demonstrates skill in their particular medium. The range of subjects and techniques embraced in our exhibition programme means there is always fresh, new work of quality to enjoy.
